"For many people, abstract thinking is fatiguing work — for me, on good days, it is a feast, an intoxication."

"Your joy is your sorrow unmasked.
And the selfsame well from which your laughter rises was oftentimes filled with your tears.
And how else can it be?
The deeper that sorrow carves into your being, the more joy you can contain."

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

"

Thus with my lips have I denounced you, while my heart, bleeding within me, called you tender names.

It was love lashed by its own self that spoke. It was pride half slain that fluttered in the dust. It was my hunger for your love that raged from the housetop, while my own love, kneeling in silence, prayed your forgiveness.

"I find it funny that there are people who claim to be enlightened, yet flee the darkness.
Beings who claim to be adepts, yet flee the light.
Those who claim to worship nature, yet hate death.
Who claim to love God, yet hate his adversary.
I don’t believe in walking the left hand path or the right hand path.
I don’t believe that you can claim to be one with creation, without becoming one with destruction.
I seek universal balance within myself and outside myself.
I want to know every part of the Divine Lover."

The feeling of freedom

I have never felt as free as I have within the past 7 months. For once I feel like I have found my true passion and calling and it consumes my heart and soul every moment. In a good way of course. For once, I don’t care about what events led me here or what events might have held me back, no..for once I just feel free from the oppression from my family and a lot of other people in my life. I finally feel as though I found the way I want to spend my brief existence on this earth and nobody can stop me.

Give praise to the great oneness, the universe..our true mother and father, fore music is never created by human hands..it is discovered, a gift from beyond the veil. May love and light guide our paths, peace be within. Amun

"People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive."
Joseph Campbell (via purplebuddhaproject)
"If you do follow your bliss you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Follow your bliss and don’t be afraid, and doors will open where you didn’t know they were going to be."
Joseph Campbell (via purplebuddhaproject)
"For those who believe in God, most of the big questions are answered. But for those of us who can’t readily accept the God formula, the big answers don’t remain stone-written. We adjust to new conditions and discoveries. We are pliable. Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that death will tremble to take us."
